Sanctuary4Kids is an emergency shelter for children who are removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect. Frequently, when a child is coming into care they need a temporary “home” until the best placement can be found for them. Sanctuary4kids is that soft landing for children while these important decisions are being made. Sanctuary4kids for abused and neglected children coming into care was completed and gifted to Hibiscus Children’s Center in 2017 for operation. Thanks to our generous community, GFNF raised the money to build and furnish Sanctuary4kids in just a little over 12 months.
