WAYS TO GIVE
Volunteer:
GFNF4Kids is a totally volunteer non-profit organization and, as such, has many opportunities available. Assistance is needed for, but not limited to, administrative help, creating press releases, website maintenance, social media, grant writing, GFNF4Kids Holiday Gift Drive and other programs we offer. All skills, talents and backgrounds can be of significant help to GFNF4Kids and our children.
Make a Donation:
Healing Garden:
The 17,000 square foot Healing Garden will provide opportunities for mental health/therapeutic programs and services. The garden is designed to reduce stress and depression, and to encourage exercise, positive social interaction and promote a sense of well-being and peace. The garden will be a tremendous opportunity for individuals and corporations to sponsor key areas of the garden.
Circle of Care Donor Program:
For less than a Starbuck’s visit you can improve the life of sexually and physically abused children in our community. Why 12 – because the Children’s Advocacy Center will be serving 1,200 victims of abuse. If all our friends and their friends gave $12 a month the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) will be even better equipped to provide the most innovative programs and services.
Participate and support GFNF4Kids' programs established to help the children:
- Treasure Coast GFNF4Kids Child Summit
Starting in 2011, this two (2) day child-focused conference is offered annually. Presentations are by professionals from multiple disciplines educating our community on the latest issues impacting children and strategies to further protect them from harm. Topics are the result of collaboration with a multitude of individuals and organizations within the community.
- GFNF4Kids Holiday Gift Drive
GFNF’s Holiday Gift Drive provides holiday gifts to children throughout Okeechobee and the Treasure Coast who are victims of maltreatment. The program has provided more than 5,000 children in the community with holiday gifts thanks to the generosity of community members. The program has been managed via e-mail for the last two years. The elimination of printing and postal costs has generated even more value directly to the children.
