WAYS TO SUPPORT

Make a Donation:

Thank you for supporting the most vulnerable among us, the children. Through your donation you are helping to ensure that abused children are SEEN and HEARD. GFNF is extremely grateful for your generous heart, support and advocacy on behalf of children. Donations are needed throughout the year to help provide for various needs and assistance for the children.

Wish List:

A small act of kindness can make a world of difference! Take a look at our Amazon wish list, and consider a donation that will help a child in need.

Volunteer:

GFNF4Kids is a totally volunteer non-profit organization and, as such, has many opportunities available. Assistance is needed for, but not limited to, administrative help, creating press releases, website maintenance, social media, grant writing, GFNF4Kids Holiday Gift Drive and other programs we offer. All skills, talents and backgrounds can be of significant help to GFNF4Kids and our children.

Participate and support GFNF4Kids' programs established to help the children:

Treasure Coast GFNF4Kids | Child Summit
Starting in 2011, this two (2) day child-focused conference is offered annually. Presentations are by professionals from multiple disciplines educating our community on the latest issues impacting children and strategies to further protect them from harm. Topics are the result of collaboration with a multitude of individuals and organizations within the community.

GFNF4Kids | Holiday Gift Drive
GFNF’s Holiday Gift Drive provides holiday gifts to children throughout Okeechobee and the Treasure Coast who are victims of maltreatment. The program has provided more than 5,000 children in the community with holiday gifts thanks to the generosity of community members. The program has been managed via e-mail for the last two years. The elimination of printing and postal costs has generated even more value directly to the children.

Dance For A Cause: Zumba
Each year during Child Abuse Prevention Month, GFNF4Kids hosts its annual Dance for a Cause Zumba event, welcoming the entire community to come together in support of this important mission. Participants enjoy high energy dance, fitness, music, raffles, and family friendly activities that inspire movement and connection. The event raises awareness about child abuse prevention, encourages community involvement, and helps strengthen the collective commitment to protecting children and building brighter futures.

Heartlines: A Journey of Emotin, Reflection, and Resilience Through Poetry and Art
HeartLines is a reflective collection of healing poetry that explores the quiet strength it takes to grow, heal, and reclaim one’s voice. Through deeply personal poems, Suzanne Mogavero traces the emotional lines we carry within us – memories, silence, resilience, forgiveness, and the courage it takes to face what has long gone unspoken. Each poem invites readers into moments of reflection, offering language for experiences that are often difficult to express. The poems are accompanied by artwork from artist Lisa Jill Allison, whose paintings provide quiet moments of beauty alongside the emotional journey of the collection..
