Thousands of abused, neglected and abandoned children end up in judicial proceedings every year here in Florida through no fault of their own. Their voices are often unheard, and best interests overlooked in this complicated process. Guardian ad Litem volunteers represent the best interests of the child during the family crisis and court proceedings.
By providing support and advocacy to ensure that every abused, neglected and abandoned child in our district is represented by a Guardian ad Litem and that financial assistance and other resources are available to meet the needs of these children.
If you have a desire to help children, are concerned for the well being of children, and willing to advocate for their best interests, GAL and the children need you. Volunteer today to become a Guardian ad Litem. It will be the most personally rewarding experience of your life.
